As a IT support professional, multiple screens are essential during my daily work, as we have to monitor several systems at the same time. So I always have 3 monitors hooked up at the office and home. The problem comes while I’m on the road when got called to help on something. With only the laptop screen, it is a pain in the butt to keep switching between 7~8 windows to troubleshoot. And It easily takes me at least 50% more time to accomplish the same task comparing with multiple screens. This portable monitor comes handy to resolve the pain. It’s basically 2 of 14″ 1920×1080 IPS monitors connecting together by the middle panel. You just put the center panel with the laptop screen which keeps the portable monitor in place and in position, and then open the left and right monitors. Unlike the traditional monitor which might be connect via VGA/HDMI/DVI/DP, each of the screens of this portable monitor has 3 USB-C ports which is the new modern way to connect display to PC and Macbook. My 3 years old HP laptop has only 1 USB-C port, which enable the simplest USB-C to USB-C connection. It also has enough juicy to power up the the external monitor. For the other monitor, I use the included HDMI to USB-C cable to connect it to the HDMI output on the laptop for signal, and the included USB-A to USB-C cable for power. That’s it. No extra power supply is needed, and the laptop immediately recognize the 2 new monitors and configured it automatically. Now I have the same triple monitor setup, even away from home/office and on the go.As far as the monitor itself, it displays the text and image pretty well and the brightness is also good. I solely use this setup for daily support work, and it works well in the same manner as my desktop monitors. The product is well packaged and the included pouch is handy to pack everything together. However, there is room to improve. As mentioned earlier, it’s basically 2 separate monitors combining together. That ‘s why you need to hook up them individually. I believe it could be more convenient if both monitors could be connected internally, so just one cable to connect all to the laptop. Another area of possible improvement is the location of the USB-C ports. It’s on the back of monitor. I understand it’s to keep the it low profile but it makes it a little bit harder to remove the cable. I’d like to move the ports to the side, or to the middle panel. As a summary, this is a great portable monitor to maintain the productivity even on the road. I’d recommend it.

I recently purchased a laptop extender, and it has completely transformed the way I work. The setup was incredibly easy—within minutes, I had multiple screens ready to go. The build quality is solid and lightweight, making it perfect for on-the-go use.The added screen space has boosted my productivity tenfold. Whether I’m managing multiple spreadsheets or keeping track of emails while working on projects, everything feels seamless and efficient. The display resolution is crisp, and the adjustable angles ensure a comfortable viewing experience. If you’re someone who multitasks or works remotely, this is a must-have accessory. Worth every penny—highly recommend!5/5 Stars!

I recently upgraded to the Cevaton 15.6″ laptop screen extender, and it has truly transformed my work setup! The flexibility of rotating the screen 235° horizontally and 90° vertically allows me to configure my workspace just the way I need it. Whether I’m working from home or traveling, this extender adapts perfectly—allowing me to use it in landscape or portrait modes, or detach it for portable use.The FHD display is stunning with vibrant colors and sharp detail. I love that I can adjust the brightness and contrast to fit my preferences, which helps reduce eye strain during long working hours.Setup was a breeze with the plug-and-play feature—no drivers needed. It’s compatible with a wide range of devices and comes with all the necessary cables. Although it’s not compatible with MacBooks M1/M2/M3 chips, it works seamlessly with my laptop and other devices. The ultra-thin and lightweight design makes it incredibly portable, and the included leather bag is a nice touch for easy transport. This monitor extender has significantly boosted my productivity, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their workstation setup.Customer support is also top-notch—they responded promptly to my queries. Overall, a fantastic purchase that’s worth every penny!

Ok, you need to know what kind of processing chip you have for your macbook before you decide on this purchase. In order for both monitors to work on a macbook pro with an M1 chip, you will need a hub with displaylink capability and you will need to download and install displaylink driver to your computer.I have a macbook pro but it has an M1 chip. This is different from an M1 chip pro. The M1 chip is not made for more than one additional screen display. So if you want to use this two additional screen display, extra purchases will be necessary. Im going to detail those purchases below in hopes to help others. At the end, I will detail the issues i had.- You will need a hub that supports the displaylink program. These are more expensive than the other hubs but, after pruchasing a cheaper hub and still struggling, i realize this is the only way to go-You will need to download and install the displaylink driver- You hook the montiors to the driver with the cords provided in your purchase. You will need to use both the usb and hdmi cord for each monitor. The you hook the hub to your computer. Remember to plug in the hub to an outlet (this cord is provided with your hub if you get a kensington, it wasnt when i got a diffeent brand hub). Its working like a dream! I did contact the seller during this set up debacle and I did get responses in a somewhat timely manner. They really tried their best to identify and solve my problem. I just happened to be a step ahead of their responses because im impatient and started looking at videos on youtube and visiting message boards.Problems I encountered:-without a hub, hooking montiors directly to macbook into macbook ports using usb cord:only one monitor would turn on. Only one montior would show in display settings. Using hdmi, no monitors would turn on-with cheap hub: using both cords (if i used only one the same as above would happen) both monitors would turn on but they would act as one. Only one monitor is present in display settingsIn order for both monitors to work on a macbook pro with an M1 chip, you will need a hub with displaylink capability and you will need to download and install displaylink driver to your computer.
