When I was pregnant I didn’t see the point in spending $200+ on a crib set from Baby’s R US, because the doctor recommends not using blankets, or bumpers now days as an increased risk of SIDS. So I was disappointed in the basic crib sets that didn’t have the colors, or patterns I wanted for my nursery. I decided to purchase this ruffled crib skirt instead and it did not disappoint! Even on the highest crib setting the skirt touched the ground, or I was able to move it so that it appeared that it touched the ground. I love the added detail of the ruffles, they are not overly ruffled and it adds a nice touch over a straight crib set. My daughter is now two, and the skirt has held up incredibly well. I’m extremely happy with this purchase.

I ordered this along with the American Baby maize dot crib bumper. When comparing between the yellow and maize options online, I went with maize hoping it would be more on the gold side. I’d still call it a pastel yellow, but I’m making it work! I have yet to run it through the wash, and I will update this review with any wash results afterward.
