Used this for the first time while away this past weekend. Easy to fold and pack, great traction even when sweaty, provided some cushioning, (better with a mat towel if on a hard surface). Very happy with this purchase.

I LOVE this mat. I mostly take hot yoga classes but use it in any class. I get pretty sweaty and have trouble staying in my poses with other mats because I’d be slipping and sliding but NOT THIS MAT! I can hold and get the full benefit of my poses which makes me feel stronger. It’s like my hands and feet are taped down yet it’s not restricting. A perfect grip!!There is a smell but it’s not unbearable just smells like a tire; like rubber. It’s not a fishy smell and definitely not bad enough to not buy. WORTH EVERY PENNY!FYI-I got the Manduka EKO Lite 4mm Yoga Mat Sage 71″ and it shipped from Celebrate Alive.

This is a great mat. Manduka is always highly recommended. And I really love that this one is biodegradable, and won’t give me some weird thyroid disease or something lol.That said, DO NOT leave it in the sun. I roll mine inside-out to protect the natural rubber from the elements.After practicing twice daily on it for two months, I’ve bonded with my mat. It’s stable and an amazing cushion. My *only* virgo critique, is that maybe it’s TOO sticky. Makes it very difficult to drag your feet, if you need to. The stickiness holds a towel very well though.I carry it in a sling as I walk to the shala, very portable.Comfortable for sitting long periods.To wash, i use i tiny bit of acv, one or two drops of tea tree, diluted in water in a spray bottle. Then i wet a rag with water and scrub. Hang dry (out of the sunlight!!!!!!!). Don’t use too much oils on it, beware!The design is fun and cute, though not busy. Classy. Be like water, my friends!
